I Arrived in the UK August 1994 from Auckland City.

Bradford Bulls, or Bradford Northern as it was known then has been my one and only club in England. I have just completed 10 years loyal service to the Bulls and the club have been kind enough to grant me a Testimonial this year.

I started playing rugby when I was four year old as an amateur for a club called Te Atatu Roosters in Auckland. My brother Henry and I even at that age were always competitive, always trying to out do one another - nothing has changed really!!

Henry and I both played for the same club as juniors - there is two years difference between us, born a week apart plus two years - he is an awesome player and I am proud to say he is my brother.

We played together in the under sixes and both progressed through together to the senior teams in NZ called The Premiers. The Premiers in Auckland was a great standard and this is where we began to really compete together. By then I was sixteen years old and Henry eighteen. Our coach and mentor from being children through to the premiers and then to professional rugby has been our father Walter, he remains our greatest mentor and when not giving us direction, he is providing coaching at Ossett Trinity here in West Yorkshire.

Henry has always set the standards and I have always followed - or that's how he likes to tell it anyway!

Rugby International Heroes for me were Ellery Hanley (Great Britain), Wally Lewis (Australia) and Mark Graham (New Zealand) - great talents who inspired me towards representing my country.

More on a personal note I love to spend time with my family, my partner Toni and my two daughters Mia and Iesha.

Musically I love R and B and many of the modern sounds. I have a passion for good food and of course good clothes. To me, my appearance is very important not only in a fashion kind of way, but to present myself and my sport properly when out and about meeting fans and family.
